By joining heads, hands, and hearts, six internationally educated and experienced engineers have established elmak in 1994. This young group of engineers posses the knowledge and know-how to give technological solution and support to the industry in individual areas such as electrical-electronical, mechanical and chemical engineering as well as the combination of these such as automation and process control.

elmak activities spin around the focus of Research and Development and ranges from electronic circuit design to system development; from industrial, production and building automation systems to bank and insurance automation systems; from chemical process development to their optimisation; from custom-made machinery to general purpose machinery design and manufacture; elmak also provides technological education and consultancy.

Additional founders experience in world known companies and universities elmak, itself realized in its 4 year young life very competitive R&D and projects. elmak established a very good call especially process automation and textile machinery. Many known Turkish companies are in elmak's customer list.

Founder Team of Elmak

Dr. Niyazi Ari

Dr. Ari has an electrical engineering degree and also Ph.D. from ETH(Zurich-Switzerland). He has over a 22 years experience in electrical engineering especially in EMC field. He made many technical contributions to ABB, Contravers. Currently he is pro-rector of Juventus Engineering Schools (Zurich). He works as EMC consultant to elmak.

Sükrü Bayram

Mr. Bayram obtained his mechanical engineering degree from Clausthal Technical University - Germany. He worked at Siemens-Integra (Zurich-Switzerland) for four years. At Siemens-Integra AG., he was responsible for many important projects in rail transport systems. He is currently responsible for the mechanical department of elmak. With his experience in mechanical systems, he places ELMAK in front of many competitors in Turkey.

Dr. Ali Demir

Dr. Demir obtained his mechanical engineering degree from Technical University of Istanbul -Turkey and Ph. D. from Loughborough University - England. He worked as development engineer at Heberlein AG, Wattwil-Switzerland, making many contributions on the air jet designs for synthetic textured filament production. Currently he is a Professor at Technical University of Istanbul. He works as coordinator and technology consultant on textile machines in elmak. He brings valuable know-how on textile machines in elmak.

Hüsnü Evren

Mr. Evren obtained his electronic and manufacturing engineering degree from University of Birmingham - England. He worked as a development engineer in Sulzer - Ruti (Zurich-Switzerland) for four years. During his work, he was responsible for design and implementation of servo systems in weaving machines and communication networks (CAN-bus). He is currently responsible for the automation, electronic and software department of elmak. He makes valuable contribution to elmak with his knowledge on real-time software, hardware and control systems.

Dr. Taner Hatipoglu

Dr. Hatipoglu obtained his chemical engineering and Ph. D. degree from ETH (Zurich-Switzerland). Although he has chemical engineering degree, he work for many years as IT specialist and project manager in WANG Computers and Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS). Currently he holds a position as vice-president for IT projects at UBS. He consults elmak on IT projects.

Mesut Ugur

Mr. Ugur obtained his micro-technology engineering degree from Engineering School Biel-Switzerland and Software Engineer MS degree from Engineering School-St. Gallen. He worked many years at Benninger and Rieter-Switzerland as software and hardware development engineer. He is currently responsible for the marketing and sales department of elmak. His broad knowledge on technological systems play great role on elmak's position as a technology company.
